Filipino
Philippine schools overseas (PSOs) are legally recognised educational organisations that operate outside of the Philippines and follow the DepEd's basic education curriculum. The laws and rules of the governments of the Philippines and the host nations must be complied with by PSOs. Before requesting accreditation from the Philippine DepEd, you must have a current operating licence from the host nation. PSOs are created to address the educational requirements of Filipino children living abroad and, eventually, to make it easier for them to reintegrate into the Philippine school system once they return home. The schools also serve as a hub for Filipino community activities and as a place to teach and spread the culture and legacy of the Filipino people to Filipino kids living abroad.
