Qatar Academy - Al Khor Branch

On September 7, 2008, the Qatar Academy Al Khor (QAK) started classes for Kindergarten 1 and 2 and Grades 1 through 4. At one Grade level per year up to Grade 12 the projected growth of the school has been set, which in 2016 was achieved when they moved to the new campus. In the city of Al Khor North of Qatar, the state-of-the-art building is located.

That predominantly educates native Qatari students and longtime residents, as a full IB World School, to developing local human capital the QAK is especially dedicated. With Qatar’s heritage and culture, the QAK seamlessly blends its world-class international curriculum. In part, by enabling the students to thrive in a truly bilingual environment this is achieved in English and Arabic developing rich language skills concurrently, since predominantly Qatari is the student base.

To be open-minded, inquiring, and knowledgeable life-long learners the QAK strives to empower the students who through intercultural understanding and respect, can adapt to an ever-changing world.
