The following procedures to investigate the qualities mentioned above will be part of the evaluation of a student's fit for a Queensland Academy:
Completion of the required Entrance Test Analysis of school records and other academic performance data e.g. NAPLAN outcomes,
An engagement activity,
Examining any further material that is important to the student selection process that is available. 

Queensland Academy - Science Mathematics & Technology Application Requirements  for year 10 are as follows:

Submit an online application through the Queensland Academies Portal External link.

Applicants sit the Edutest Entrance test at the designated venue on the scheduled date.

Selected students are invited to participate in an interview.

Applicants receive notice of outcome.
