Raffles International School

The Raffles International School (RIS) was founded in 2004 with an objective to provide a world class education and is proud to be a part of the Innoventures Education group of schools and nurseries. The Innoventures Education group provides high quality international education to almost 8,000 young learners across five schools and eleven nurseries. In 2010 It took on the management of The Raffles International School and since from that time the RIS Secondary has been extended to include a vibrant Sixth Form offering ‘A’ Level and BTEC pathways to further education and also to ensure that the school leavers have every opportunity for further success along with the Duke of Edinburgh awards and opportunities for the local and international work experience, while always enjoying a strong link with the local Emirati community. The school also have a strong international connections and at present has learners from 86 different countries worldwide, speaking more than 30 different languages. The school and nurseries has 7,750+ students from more than 100 nationalities and is also a culturally rich, international community. The vision is to provide a world class education for empowering the students with an entire strict and international education for success in an ever changing world. The Raffles International School acknowledges that each and every children should have a right to have a high quality inclusive education for which the school works hard to ensure that every member of the school community feels safe, valued and included, they also have high expectations of all the RIS students which includes the students of determination for whom an additional support is provided so that they can reach their goals of achievement.
