Red House School is an independent, mixed school located in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees, in the north-east of England. The school accommodates Nursery, Reception, and Year 1 in a bespoke building, while Years 2 to 4 study in a Georgian Vicarage. The Preparatory School and Senior School are housed in a manor house. The school had an outstanding achievement in 2010 when it secured first place in The Sunday Times Parent League Tables under the category of independent secondary schools without a sixth form. The Sunday Times ranking is based on the percentage of students securing A - C grades at GCSE, and A and B grades at A level. In 2019, Red House School celebrated a notable achievement of 99% A*-C grades in all GCSE results.

Red House School Norton boasts exceptional GCSE outcomes, with 99.2% of our marks being a grade 4 or higher, and an impressive 73.7% of our marks between 6-9. These figures are strikingly high, particularly when compared to the lower national 4-9 grade rate following years of grade inflation and the reset to pre-2020 standards.  This year's class has generated incredibly strong results across numerous disciplines, reflecting the significant efforts and resilience they demonstrated at Red House School. The achievements of this class serve as a rewarding springboard into their future endeavors.  Among many noteworthy performances, standouts include Gabriel with an outstanding seven grade 9's, three grade 8's, and one grade 7; Sophie who received an impressive six grade 9's, two grade 8's, and two grade 7's; Bridie who earned five grade 9's, four grade 8's and one grade 7; Finlay who attained four grade 9's, four grade 8's, one grade 7, and one grade 6; and Jude who accomplished three grade 9's, six grade 8's, and two grade 7's. Furthermore, Red House achieved a 100% pass rate of grades 7-9 in Chemistry and German and all pupils passed with a grade 4-9 in Mathematics, English Language, and the three sciences.
