Application Requirements

  • 1. Rosslyn School accepts applications for children between the ages of 5 and 11 all year round.
  • 2. Prospective students must first visit the school, then submit an application form accompanied by a £75 non-refundable registration fee.
  • 3. The registration fee covers administration costs, including entry tests in Math and English and a trial day at the school.
  • 4. All children over 7 years of age must undergo a cognitive abilities test that evaluates verbal, non-verbal, quantitative and spatial reasoning skills.
  • 5. Assessment results are generally communicated to the parents/guardians within 3 to 5 days of the test.
  • 6. If a place is available, the school will make an offer and advise of this.
  • 7. To secure a place at the school, a deposit of £200 is required, which can be applied against the final fee invoice.
  • 8. In the event that a place is not available, parents/guardians will be advised and given the option to add their child to a waiting list.
