Shaikha Hessa Girls' School (SHGS) is a private all-girls school in Riffa, Bahrain. It was established in 2001 by Her Highness Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa and is named after her. The school offers an international curriculum with the International General Secondary Education Certificate (IGCSE) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP).
SHGS is a fully accredited school by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) and the Council of International Schools (CIS). It is also a candidate for full joint accreditation with CIS and MSA.
The school has a student body of over 1,000 students from over 24 countries. The teaching staff is made up of qualified and experienced educators from around the world.
