School History & Details

The Shotover Primary School was established in 2015 and caters to children from new entrants to Year 8. In 2015 they opened their doors for the very first time with 88 children on day one. Since then they have grown to touch over 570 children. They are fortunate to have had all their future growth space fully built and they enjoy contemporary learning spaces that make the most of their location including a community hall with a technology, science room, music studio, and playgrounds.
The school's vision for all their children is to Create a Climate of Possibility. Their goal is to cause learning to happen and to create an environment that does not limit the imagination of the children entrusted to their care. They want to see the children leave them at the end of Year 8 knowing that they can pursue the possibilities that they have conceived and explored at the school. To serve the families of Shotover Primary School is what they consider a huge privilege and responsibility. For your children causing learning is something they are honoured to do. They trust that you will enjoy your time as part of Shotover Primary School.
