School History & Details

Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate was founded in 2001 by its namesake and was opened in 2004. On campus, there are three distinct levels of learning, including junior, middle, and high school, which provide a "complete education experience" while being controlled by a single board of trustees. This implies that large families pass through the school, making it easier for whanau (extended family or community) to bring their tamariki (children) to different age groups. Sir Edmund Hillary Middle School uses both conventional and modern teaching methods, and they are always assessing their methodology to increase student progress. As technology advances, students find new sorts of learning, while teachers adapt to new ways of teaching to boost achievement in this ever-changing world. Methods of assessment, as well as achievement results, are regularly examined to assist us in creating essential targets to take us closer to the high standards we set for ourselves.
