Socrates Educa International School

A few years ago, a group of influential people, including businessmen, academics, artists, and professionals from various professions, gathered to discuss the advancement of culture and knowledge in Camp de Tarragona and southern Catalonia. One of the constant themes was the need to adapt education to the problems of a globalized world, and the absence of a school with an innovative and worldwide vision and vocation was immediately identified. As a result, the idea for the Socrates Educa® International School as a civic project emerged. With enthusiasm, energy, excitement, and an abundance of professionalism, a non-profit enterprise was created that has left a legacy for society as a whole. In 2007, the Socrates Educa Foundation was established, which handled the foundation process and now controls school governance. The first stone was placed in 2011, and the new school opened just a year later, on September 17, 2012. The revolutionary Socrates Educa® International School concept has shown to be a success, yielding excellent outcomes over time.
