The non-profit Sri Dasmesh International School was founded in 2001, and it has one of the most affordable price schedules of all the foreign schools in Malaysia. Students at SDIS will begin taking the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Education) exams in Year 11 as of January 2014, making SDIS a fully accredited Cambridge International School offering the Cambridge curriculum.
