St Helen's College

Application requirements for St. Helen's College are as follows:

+2 entry:

Random ballots are used to determine admission to Ducklings Kindergarten, and the ballots are cast between a year and six months prior to the entry point. 

Ducklings spots are automatically granted to siblings of students enrolled at St. Helen's College; additional registered students' names are added to the vote. 

Any enrolled child who isn't given a spot for Ducklings admission is automatically added to the Nursery waiting list.

+3 entry:

For admittance into Nursery the following September, three or more entry meetings are held in the middle of January every year.

Small groups of children are invited to Nursery for a forty-minute play-based activity. The doors are open at all times for parents to enjoy coffee in the adjacent room.

The following criteria are used for assessment: curiosity, teachability, sociability, and communication skills 

+4 entry:

Every year, in the middle of February, 4+ assessments are held in preparation for admission to Reception in September.

Small groups of children are invited to the school for a forty-minute evaluation session. Parents are welcome to remain on the school property the entire time.

The Early Learning Goals of the Early Years Foundation Stage serve as the basis for the assessment criteria, and teachers must be confident that the children will be able to thrive alongside the students currently enrolled in our Nursery classrooms.

• Receive offer letter if there is a spot and pay the deposit amount.
