St James Preparatory School

The application requirements for students applying to St. James Preparatory School are as follows:

Children can enrol in the nursery at the age of two and admission is not selective. Assuring an even distribution of birth dates, an equal number of boys and girls, and the sibling priority policy, places are offered in the order of registration. Approximately two terms before the child is scheduled to begin, spots are made available.

For 4+ entry:

When your kid is between the ages of one and two years old, they advise that you register them for enrollment into Reception. One year previous to admission, they contact every parent who has requested a spot in our Reception class. There isn't a set test. Before a spot is provided, we require a favourable recommendation from your child's existing nursery school, if relevant, and every child must attend a Taster Morning with their parents. Their nursery students and existing students' siblings are given preference for enrollment in our Reception programme.

For 7 to 8+ entry:

Many kids enrol at St. James Prep in years three and four so they can take advantage of the 11+ programme and have the option to transfer to our Senior Schools if they so choose.

• Entrance assessment
• Receive offer letter if there is a spot and pay the deposit amount.
