St Joseph's School (Orakei)

The St Joseph's School (Orakei) Enrolment Process is as mentioned below:-

• 1. At St Joseph’s enrolment is preceded by a discussion with the principal, the parents and the new student. Through the school office appointments can be made by calling 09-521 0866 or filling in the form mentioned on the school website.
• 2. An enrolment pack is given and explained at the discussion, a school tour is conducted and any questions addressed.
• 3. By the principal once a completed application and supporting documentation is received, a letter either acknowledging receipt of the enrolment or confirming the enrolment and on the waiting list placement is sent to the parents.
• 4. To those children the preference in enrolment is given whose families with the Special Character of the school have established a specific connection. Those families who do not meet the criteria i.e. (https://sjorakei.school.nz/enrol-your-child/) as mentioned on the school website are designated as ‘non-preference children.
• 5. The school also accept a 10% non-preference students.
