School History & Details

St Thomas More Private School was formed in 1962 by a formal decree signed by Archbishop Thomas Conelly. The classes began in 1966 in September for Grades 1-3. Each year additional grades were added until the school included kindergarten through 8th grades. In 1955, the school decided to expand the facility and established various programs for students. The school is fully accredited by the Northwestern Association of Schools and Colleges. Over the last sixteen years, the school's three plans have piled up for the future of the school. In this 21st century, the school prepares all students to be active citizens.
