School History & Details

St. Timothy's School is a four-year, private all-girls boarding high school in Stevenson, Maryland. Sarah Randolph Carter started the school for girls in Catonsville, Maryland, in 1882. The school relocated to Stevenson, Maryland in 1952, and was designed by Robert Hutchins of Moore & Hutchins, based in New York City. In 1972, Hannah More Academy joined with St. Timothy's School. The school is run by the Episcopal Church and offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
