St. Wystan’s School is a historically significant institution, tucked away in the centre of Repton’s mediaeval hamlet. Lady Fisher, the wife of the Repton School's headmaster at the time who subsequently became the Archbishop of Canterbury, founded the school in 1926. Lady Fisher started the "family" tradition, which is still strong today and supports the school's inclusive, high academic standards. Their long-standing relationship with Repton School endures even though St. Wystan's is not affiliated with any senior schools and many of their students attend various private and public secondary schools in the neighbourhood.
St. Wystan’s School offers a unique atmosphere that is built on respect for one another, the environment, and the whole community. It is a peaceful, safe, and joyful family environment. They push students to critically evaluate both their own and other people's ideas and opinions. They encourage kids to follow their own interests in sports, music, art, and theatre while simultaneously attempting to provide them with the knowledge, abilities, and experiences that will enable them to lead happy, prosperous, and meaningful lives.
St. Wystan’s School Campus is based at High St, Repton, Derby DE65 6GE, United Kingdom
