The history of the Swiss Boarding Schools Disentis & Zurich (Zurich Campus) dates back to 1873 when the school was founded as a private girls' school. The school was originally located in the center of Zurich, but it moved to its current location in the suburb of Winterthur in 1912.
The school became a coeducational school in 1977, and it began offering the British Curriculum. The school was renamed Swiss Boarding Schools Disentis & Zurich in 2011, to reflect its two campuses in Disentis and Zurich. The Zurich Campus is located on a beautiful 10-acre campus in the suburb of Winterthur. The campus features a variety of state-of-the-art facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, a library, a dining hall, and a gymnasium. The campus also has a residential facility that can accommodate up to 100 students.
