Admissions Procedures

For parents who wish to enroll their children at Taylor's International School the admissions procedure below serves as a guideline.

• Step 1: Application
• Together with the following the completed Application Form is to be submitted:
• 1. A copy of passport-size coloured photographs which are not more than 6 months old.
• 2. A copy of each parents' passport-size coloured photograph which are not more than 6 months old.
• 3. A copy of Birth Certificate, Identity Card including both parents or Passport and Visa for foreign parents/students.
• 4. School Report official copy for the last 3 years.
• 5. Student's vaccination record copy.
• Step 2: Assessment
• Upon receipt of the application form, the school's Admission team will be in touch with the parents to schedule an appointment to assess their child to determine the acceptance and placement of the child. To assess the child's capability in coping and settling happily in the school, age appropriate assessment will be carried out. The assessment outcome is one of many factors that when it comes to placement of the child the school will take into consideration. In terms of placement for each and every child the school will have absolute discretion. The placement for all children is the best the school will ensure and most suitable year groups for each and everyone of their children which to strive in their learning and growth will in turn help them.
• Step 3: Admission And Registration
• A copy of 'Letter of Offer' will be issued upon satisfactory of assessment. Prior to the child's commencement of school the acceptance of the offer must be made. Acceptance of a place the payment of Registration and Deposit constitutes and therein the place for the child confirms. Please contact the school's Admission Department in case of need of further clarifications.
• Application Form:
• To complete the application complete the following steps mentioned below.
• To enrol online and pay via credit card this application form allows the families.
• Per enrolment a non-refundable fee of RM 1,000.00 will be charged.
• Please ensure you have the following available to complete your application:
• 1. Birth certificate copy.
• 2. School reports and testimonials copy (if applicable).
• a. The student's official school leaving certificate copy and regarding the student's character and ability testimonial from the current school's Principal or Class Teacher; and/or 3 years past academic records.
• b. To your child's learning any specialist reports that may relate, such as an assessment completed by Language Therapist, an Educational Psychologist and Occupational Therapist or Speech.
• 3. National identity card copy (if applicable).
• 4. Vaccination records copy (if applicable).
• 5. Court orders and/or parenting plans copy (if applicable).
• 6. Visa or passport copy (if applicable).
• 7. Year 10 subject option for copy (if applicable).
• 8. Parent and Student photographs.
• a. Photo's to be a recent colour passport-size photograph.
