This school was established in 2018. Earlier, Aquila was only a primary school in Abu Dhabi which, for past 10 years, has grown to enormous strength. It became the first school in Abu Dhabi to be rated ‘Outstanding’ in all the areas of inspection and the only primary school in Abu Dhabi to be rated ‘Outstanding’ overall. It has opened for Year 10 in September 2022 and will offer admission into Year 11 from the next academic year, if allowed by KHDA.
