The establishment of the British School of Geneva (BSG) was prompted by the increasing need for private, anglophone education in Geneva, particularly for the English National programme. As the A-Level College, they opened for business in 2005 and provided a singular chance for Anglophone teenagers in the area to earn this highly regarded and globally acknowledged diploma. They grew in 2009 when the Geneva Education Department (Département de l'instruction publique) gave their organisation permission to launch the Geneva Secondary School in their brand-new, specially constructed facility.
British School of Geneva tries to inculcate the following values:
Courage
Compassion
Fairness
Integrity
Resilience
Respect
Responsibility
