In September 1993, the English Academy was established after months of dedicated effort. Despite encountering delays, the final approval for the academy was obtained in April of that same year. The task at hand was to transform an unused Arabic Private School, which had been vacant for three years, into a suitable environment for education.
Within a mere three months of scorching heat, an incredible amount of work was accomplished. Repairs were conducted throughout the building, ensuring its structural integrity. The walls were given fresh coats of paint, brightening the space and creating a welcoming atmosphere. The outdated wiring was replaced, and plumbing issues were addressed to guarantee a functional facility. Windows that needed repair were fixed, allowing natural light to flood the rooms.
Simultaneously, efforts were made to furnish the academy appropriately. New furniture was purchased, ensuring that the students would have comfortable and conducive learning spaces. The dedicated staff were recruited, bringing their expertise and enthusiasm to the newly formed institution. Books were ordered, ensuring that the students would have the necessary resources to enhance their education.
Not only was the interior attended to, but the exterior also received attention. Beautiful flowers were planted, adding a touch of natural beauty to the surroundings. These little touches helped create an environment to inspire and engage the students.
After meticulous planning and relentless hard work, the English Academy was ready to open its doors to eager students. All that remained was the arrival of the pupils, who would soon embark on their educational journey within the nurturing environment of the English Academy.
