The UAE Ministry of Education has granted The First Academy School Ajman a licence. It was established in 2012, adheres to the American curriculum based on the Common Core State and International Standards, and provides co-educational instruction for courses from Kindergarten through Grade 12. The institution has a focus on Islamic and religious studies (Quran and Hadith).
