Important Information

The International School Of Penang (uplands) fee details/structure:

1. On joining any year-group there are four different one-time charges to be paid. Per child attending the school, all fees are quoted.

a. APPLICATION FEE (Non – refundable) due with application - RM800.

b. THE I.S.P. SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP FEE (membership applicable to one parent only) - RM 1,000.

c. ENTRANCE FEE (non-refundable) - RM 2,000.

d. ENROLMENT DEPOSIT (Refundable) against breakage or loss of property - RM 5,000.

2. To fund teaching costs the Tuition Fees are invoiced twice yearly. In August 2023 and January 2024, the school fees are due.

3. Before a student can attend the school all fees must be paid in full. If payment has not been made the school has the right to refuse admission of a child to classes. In part or in whole there will be no refund of tuition fees.

4. If full payment is received by 7th August 2023 (1st Billing) or 22nd December 2023 (2nd Billing), an early-payment discount of 5% on the tuition fee will be credited to your school account.

5. Per student there is an annual charge of RM 1,200.00, to the school development fund which is payable.

6. The school also includes other fees i.e. Personal Accident Insurance, Public Examination Fees Including IGCSE and IB Examinations, Textbooks, IB Courses (Years 12 and 13), Uplands Parent Teacher Association, Library Fines, Additional Administrative Fees, and School Trips, Activities.

Both internal and external applicants to the International School Of Penang (uplands) welcome the Uplands school values model and to apply for school prestigious scholarship to study in the Senior School at Uplands the IB learner profile attributes.

The Scholarship

On an individual basis the value of the scholarship offered on tuition costs will be determined and during the selection process will be discussed with the individual applicant. In August of 2023, students will commence, for two years at the beginning of Senior School.

Eligibility

For entry into the senior school, this scholarship is open to qualified students to study either the IB Diploma Program or the four-year High School Diploma Program for the final two years.

Deadline and procedure for application

1. On or before the 17th of February 2023 the complete applications should be submitted.

2. On the Google form complete the application and to ([email protected]) any additional documents should be emailed titled IBDP Scholarship 2023.

3. To complete assessments and an interview before the 10th March 2023 the shortlisted candidates will be invited.

4. By 31st March 2023 the scholarship recipients will be notified.
