The King’s School fees for the academic year 2023-24:
Boarding: £14,830 per term
Day: (Shell) £9,275 per term
Day: (Remove & Fifth) £9,780 per term
Day: (Sixth Form) £10,300 per term
School fees are reviewed annually.
Bursaries & Scholarships
Henry VIII created the King's Scholarships in 1541 in accordance with the Statutes of Canterbury Cathedral. The acceptance of girls as Scholars was formally sanctioned by the most current Royal Charter, which was awarded in 1992.
Members of the Canterbury Cathedral Foundation include King's Scholars.
The School offers entry honours in seven primary categories:
1. Exhibitions and Academic Scholarships (King's Scholars)
2. Scholarships and Awards in Music
3. Exhibitions and scholarships for artists
4. Scholarships and Awards in Sports
5. Awards for Design & Technology
6. Scholarships for drama
7. Scholarships for dance
In years nine and twelve, scholarships are given out.
Each of the seven aforementioned categories offers Year 9 Scholarships. In the first four of the aforementioned categories, Year 12 Scholarships are given out.
The school does not offer any sibling discount by now.
