The King's School, Macclesfield, is a very popular private school for day pupils which is situated in Prestbury, Cheshire, England. Originally known as Macclesfield Grammar School, it was established in 1502 by Sir John Percyvale, a former Lord Mayor of London.

Academically, The King's School in Macclesfield performs admirably. The school uses the National Curriculum for A-Levels in the sixth form and GCSE in Years 10–11. Students received an A/A on 41% of examinations in 2012, and an A-B on 75% of tests. In 2012, students received the highest GCSE results ever, with 33% of grades at A, over 63% at A/A, and 86% at A–B. Students received 60% As and As in the GCSE in 2011 and 75% A to B grades at the A-level, with a 99.7% pass rate.
