The New Indian Model School, Sharjah, also famously known as NIMS-Sharjah, was established in 1982. NIMS follows the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the state of Kerela board from K-12. It is a co-educational school up to grade 5, after which the girls and boys are taught separately. Currently, the school has around 3,000 students, including students with SEND requirements.
