The Philippine School (TPS) was established in February 2008. In the community of Al Twar this school was based and in 2010 later relocated to Al Rashidiya and finally settled in Muhaisnah i.e. a residential district located in the northeastern region of the Dubai, in 2017.
The Enhanced Basic Education Curriculum or the Philippine curriculum from kindergarten until Grade 12 is followed by the TPS Dubai. Filipino is the primary language of instruction while as an additional language the students learn English. To make the transition into the education system back in the Philippines easier in case students move back home is what choosing Filipino as the official language is a step.
In addition to this, to comply with the requirements of the Ministry of Education (MOE) the Philippine School of Dubai offers Arabic Studies, Islamic Education, Moral Education and Social Studies.
As expected, most students are Filipino and this school is amongst the few Filipino schools in Dubai that are serving the Filipino community in the emirate etc.
