A "directorate" oversees the operations of eight Iranian schools in the UAE, totaling 6,000 students, including the Towheed Iranian Girls' School. These schools are Imam Khomeini (MBUH) Boys and Girls School in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain Boys and Girls School, Towheed International and Boys School, Towheed Girls School, Khadije Kobra (PBUH) Girls School, Salman Boys School, Sharjah Boys and Girls School, and Adab Private Boys and Girls School. In May 2012, the Towheed Iranian School's sections for boys (850 pupils) and girls (257 students) each saw their first KHDA inspections. For the previous five years, the school's ladies' division has achieved an "Acceptable" rating, while the boy's division has received a "Good grade for the past two years.
