Wesleyan Methodists established the Truro Wesleyan Middle Class College (also known as Truro College) in November 1880. They provide both girls and boys with an exceptional atmosphere from Reception to Year 6 that encourages them to embrace everything life has to offer while encouraging the development of their unique skills. Their goal is to set the groundwork for students to grow up and lead happy, meaningful lives in addition to preparing them for the next step of their education. Learning happens both inside and outside of the classroom, and our on-site Forest School encourages kids to safely enjoy the great outdoors from the very smallest ages. Additionally, there are lots of fun educational excursions and stops that advance learning while using the natural beauty
The core values of the Truro School are as follows:
1.Curiosity: a constant desire to learn new things and expand their knowledge, both academically and generally.
2. Self-assurance: to develop resilience by taking lessons from both achievements and setbacks.
3. Empathy: to recognise and support the needs of others, both inside and outside of our community.
4. Creativity: which allows us to express ourselves in novel ways and take on new tasks.
5. The guts to pursue excellence while maintaining integrity and aspiration.
