Academic success and skills are a top priority at UCSI International School KL. Thus, throughout primary school, the combination of the Cambridge International Curriculum (a British-based curriculum) and the International Primary Curriculum established the groundwork for secondary school and the tough Cambridge IGCSE exams. Their multinational teachers have all had previous experience teaching in foreign schools and are well-qualified to deliver the curriculum and guide the pupils in a student-centered manner. Learning occurs both within and outside of the classroom. Hands-on learning is possible thanks to their maker space, scientific labs, and studios. They also provide a variety of CCAs (co-curricular activities) to enable pupils to push their abilities and explore new things. Because they want to prepare pupils for the future, they place a heavy focus on technology skills, both in the curriculum and as part of the CCA program. They provide courses in information technology, design, and computer science. All teachers use iPads, education apps, and other technology to aid teaching and learning, which is supported by Apple Education.
