Application Requirements

 

 

  • 1. Parents are recommended to register their children as early as possible and pay a visit to the Unicorn School.
  • 2. Priority is given to siblings of existing students and children of former Unicorn School students.
  • 3. Admission offers are made during the school year before entry.
  • 4. Main admission is into the Red Class (Nursery) which begins in September after the child turns three. If there is no available slot, the child’s name can be put down for any future vacancies.
  • 5. Other admission slots are provided to those on the waiting list as decided by the Headteacher, and they have to meet the same admission criteria.
  • 6. It is crucial for later joining students to be academically and socially fitting to the existing class.
  • 7. For admission into the infant classes, school reports and other relevant assessments are needed. There will also be an informal interview along with a test on reading and spelling.
  • 8. Children joining junior classes might be required to take tests in mathematics, English, and reasoning, and be interviewed by the class teacher and Mrs. Fraley.
