UWC Thailand International School, Phuket was established in 1992. It is a co-educational school that provides quality education to students from kindergarten to Grade 12. It offers three IB programs: Primary year, Middle year, and Diploma Programme. The curriculum encourages students to become compassionate, active, and lifelong learners. The school is founded on the principle of providing a supportive, caring, and happy environment. UWC is governed by the UWC International Board and International Council. Now, UWC is comprised of schools and colleges in 18 regions as well as national committees in more than 155 countries.

The school celebrated its student's academic achievements. The students scored an average score of 34.65 in the past 6 years and the worldwide average score was 30.96. Over the past few years, students have scored well above the international averages of DP exams.
