The Vidya Pratishthan Trust was established in 1972 under the innovative and multidimensional leadership of Hon. Shri. Sharadchandraji Pawar. In 1972, the Vidya Pratishthan established its first institution, Bal Vakas Mandir in Baramati, which was an English Medium School. Vidya Pratishthan transformed a desolate 150-acre region in the M.I.D.C Residential Zone at Baramati into "Vidyanagari" with centres of learning and research that seamlessly blended with the stunning nature in a short period of time. It is affiliated with the S.S.C. Board of Maharashtra and follows the SSC pattern. It is an English-medium, co-educational, and inclusive school that accepts students of any caste, creed, or colour. Currently serving students in grades Nursery through X.
