School History & Details

Collectively, the educational institutions situated at George St and View Rd were referred to as Waiuku Primary School. It was decided to divide them into Waiuku Junior School and View Road Senior School at the beginning of the academic year. The official opening of View Road Senior School was held on March 22, 1978. There were now about 360 students enrolled in the school along with fifteen teachers, two Manual Training Center teachers, teacher assistants, and maintenance personnel.
