In 1951, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Russell established Wetherby School in Wetherby Place, London, SW7. In 1971, when it joined the Davies, Laing and Dick Educational Group and got its own board of governors, it relocated to Pembridge Square, W2 4ED. Wetherby joined the Alpha Plus Educational Group in 2002. The Wetherby School is spread across two locations. Years 1, 2, and 3 are located at 11 Pembridge Square, while Reception is located at 19 Pembridge Villas. The Alpha Plus Group, which owns a variety of schools and colleges, most of which are situated in London, owns Wetherby School.
The vibrant community of Wetherby School is committed to giving students the chance to pursue their goals, achieve personal excellence, and grow as individuals while honouring courage, tenacity, and grace. Students are taught to confidently voice their own beliefs while also learning to respect the diversity and viewpoints of others. To give them the self-confidence they will need in the future, they instill in them the qualities of resiliency, honesty, and kindness. They provide a comprehensive approach to education that encourages good communication between the home, school, and neighbourhood.
