The application requirements for Whitley Secondary School (WSS) are as follows:
Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) results: Applicants must have a PSLE score of at least 215 to be eligible for admission to WSS.
Character and conduct: Applicants must have good character and conduct. They must be able to follow rules and regulations and be respectful of others.
Co-curricular activities (CCAs): Applicants must have participated in at least one CCA. This shows that they are well-rounded individuals and that they are interested in developing their talents and interests.
Personal statement: Applicants must submit a personal statement that describes their strengths and interests. This statement should be well-written and should demonstrate why the applicant is interested in attending WSS.
Interview: Applicants will be interviewed by a panel of teachers from WSS. This interview will give the panel a chance to assess the applicant's personality and character.
