G. W. Sibly established Wycliffe College, a public institution, at Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, England, in 1882. G.W. Sibly intended to establish a school where students could be who they really were, grow in their independence of thought and action, and learn about their own skills and capabilities. Today, the ethos still holds true. Around 700 boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 18 attend Wycliffe Day and Boarding School. Students live in secluded, rural campuses spread across 52 acres in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. Wycliffe is conveniently located inside a small town and has easy rail connections that take 90 minutes to reach London.

In its most recent inspection, the Independent Schools Inspectorate gave Wycliffe College gave rating as excellent in all areas. The Wycliffe College is the nation's first independent school to receive recognition from the National Academy for Gifted Children in Education.

Due to their consistent success on the squash court, Wycliffe College is a well-known squash-playing institution. The school presently has a number of national squash championships, and it is the only school to simultaneously hold the U15 and U19 titles.
