Nagoya University is a public university which was established in the year 1871 and is located in Chikusa-ku, Nagoya, Japan. The university was the last Imperial University in Japan and among the National Seven Universities and the 3rd highest ranked higher education institution in Japan. The university has three campuses: Higashiyama Campus, Daiko Campus, and Tsurumai Campus.
Nagoya University comprises nine faculties: Faculty of Law, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Letters, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Education, and Faculty of Information Culture. The university also consists of thirteen graduate schools of Education, Law, Economics, Arts & Sciences, Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Life Sciences & Agriculture, Medicine, International Language Culture, International Development, Environmental Studies, and Information Sciences.
