The University of Copenhagen is a public university which was established in the year 1479. The university is situated in Denmark and is considered as one of the oldest universities of the city. The university has four campuses located in and around Copenhagen, with the headquarters located in central Copenhagen. The main campuses of the university are North Campus, City Campus, South campus, and Frederiksberg Campus.
The University of Copenhagen has six different faculties: Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Theology. All these faculties have been divided into parts and are being taught in different campuses of the university. Most of the courses are taught in Danish; however, many courses are also offered in English and a few in German.
