Established in 1933, the University of Missouri (also known as UMKC) is a public research university located in Kansas City, Missouri. It has two campuses in Kansas City: Volker Campus which is otherwise called as the main campus and Hospital Hill Campus. UMKC is one of four system campuses that collectively constitute the University of Missouri.
The university comprises of 15 schools and colleges such as the College of Arts and Sciences, the Conservatory of Music and Dance, the Henry W. Bloch School of Management, the School of Biological Sciences, the School of Computing and Engineering, the School of Dentistry, the School of Education, the School of Law, the School of Medicine, the School of Nursing and Health Studies, the School of Pharmacy, the School of Graduate Studies, University College and University Libraries and the School of Education. UMKC offers more than 120 academic programs including master’s degree.
