FULL PROFILE
John Featherstone is a General Practitioner (GP) and has been actively involved in Medical Education since 2008. Before joining UCLan he was a Postgraduate Training Programme Director in Mid-Yorkshire and a GP Trainer. Dr Featherstone is also a Consultation Skills Assessment Examiner for the Royal College of GPs and a GP Appraiser.
TEACHING ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to being Clinical Lead in Communication Skills for the School of Medicine, Dr Featherstone is also the Theme Lead for MSQC (Medical Skills and Quality of Care) in Phase 1 (Years 1 and 2).
