What is the Pathway Program:
Pathway Program in the USA makes sure you meet the academic requirements you’ll need for your bachelor studies in the USA. They help you settle into life in a new country and a new learning environment.
Most Pathway Programs offer basic courses in English, math, science, and writing. These classes ensure that as a new student, you’ll be in the absolute best position to pursue higher-level academic classes in the future. Even better, many programs include classes on local history and culture to give international students all of the tools and knowledge needed to succeed at university in the United States.
A pathway program allows international students who want to study in the USA to take English as a second language (ESL) courses while also taking courses that will count as credits toward their degree. These programs last about a year and generally offer “conditional acceptance” to the college or university they are affiliated with. This means that students who finish the program with acceptable English language skills and a high enough GPA are automatically accepted into the affiliate school.
Why you should take the Pathway Program:
University Pathways is ideal for international students who want to study for a degree in the USA, but do not have the English level required for direct entry. Some pathways also accept lower academic qualifications and most do not require standardized test scores (e.g. SAT, GRE, or GMAT). On successful completion, students can transfer credits earned to a degree program.
Pathway programs provide a better experience for international students. These programs have a strong track record of success and can help you improve test scores and be more likely to get accepted into the bachelor program of your dreams.
