AIGC administers a Bureau of Indian Education contract to offer financial assistance in the form of loans to applicable American Indian and Alaska Natives seeking graduate and professional degrees. The aim is to promote opportunities for careers with tribal governments, Bureau of Indian Affairs and Bureau of Indian Affairs—funded organizations on and off reservations.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
A student should be pursuing a graduate or professional degree as a full-time student at an accredited institution in the United States.
A student should be able to indicate financial need through submission of an FNF.
A student must be an enrolled member of a federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group OR provide documentation of ancestry to possession of one-fourth degree Indian blood of a federally acclaimed tribe as verified through submission of a TEC.
A student should have a 3.0 GPA.
