Hafiz Al Quran Scholarship

The Hafiz Al Quran Scholarship is also known as Beasiswa Hafiz Al Quran is awarded by the Islamic University of Indonesia to one student for each program of study annually. The scholarship is open to both undergraduate and diploma students. The scholarship is categorized into Hafiz Al Quran 30 Juz and Hafiz Al Quran 15 Juz.

Eligibility Criteria/Scholarship Guidelines 

- The applicant has to pass the PHA Test conducted by the university and has to submit a recommendation by the Murshid (applicant’s caretaker). And should also not have received any other scholarship from the university or external funding bodies. 

- The applicant has to clear the memorization test and appear for an interview conducted by the examining committee. 

How to apply

The applicant has to follow Hafiz Al Quran PHA registration and selection process conducted by the university. 

Value
Hafiz Al Quran 30 Juz usually covers full tuition fee, assistance funds, and living cost allowance up to IDR 450,000 per month. Hafiz Al Quran 15 Juz usually covers full tuition fee and assistance funds.

Deadline
March and June

Validity
The scholarship is valid for the entire duration of the program provided the academic merit is maintained as per the standard set by the examination committee.
