The Charles R. Westgate Scholarships in Engineering is a merit-based scholarship provided by Johns Hopkins University (JHU). Two scholarships are offered yearly. Students interested in several fields of study including Architecture, Art & Design, Medicine, Business Management, Computer Science & Information Technology at the undergraduate level at Johns Hopkins University can apply for this scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
All students are eligible to apply irrespective of their gender. This scholarship is applicable to:

Incoming freshmen,
The students with outstanding high school record and achievements in other areas including leadership, success in science fairs and evidence of independent research.
Value
This scholarship provides full tuition per year and a stipend towards living expenses for four years of undergraduate study in Engineering. This scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic and personal achievement, leadership, and contribution. The scholarships are worth up to $23,000 per annum.

This scholarship is tenable for 4 years. The Westgate Scholarship may be renewed annually for a total of four years of undergraduate study based on: Continued enrollment in the GWC Whiting School of Engineering and Maintenance of a 3.0 GPA or better.
