The UNIC Academic Family Scholarships are awarded by the University of Nicosia to siblings and returning graduates who apply for a second degree at the university. The scholarship is open for all nationalities and at any program level.
Eligibility Criteria/Scholarship Guidelines
- Scholarships are available to intercollege graduates of the university who wish to study a second degree at the University of Nicosia.
- Two or more siblings studying at the university are eligible for the scholarship, provided they are studying during the same semester.
How to apply
An applicant could either submit the completed application online through the student portal on unic.ac.cy or send the application by post or submit the scanned copy of the application via an email to [email protected]

For Bachelor’s degree applicant – High School Leaving Certificate and transcripts
For Master’s degree applicant – Bachelor’s Degree record and transcripts, two letter of recommendation, CV, personal statement, work experience certificate, and portfolio if applicable.
For Doctorate degree applicant – Master’s Degree record and transcripts, two letter of recommendation, CV, personal statement, work experience certificate, research proposal, and portfolio if applicable.
Further, the University Admission counselors will guide you through the steps once after the review of the application.
Value
The scholarship offers a certain percentage reduction on the tuition fee.
Deadline
Deadlines are mostly during the months of June, October, and February for Fall, Spring, and Summer Session intakes respectively.
Validity
Scholarship is valid for one academic year.
