The A. James Clark Scholars Program has been founded in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania through a transformative gift from the A. James and Alice B. Clark Foundation. The gift and the Program honor the legacy of the late A. James Clark, who was firmly committed to educating engineering and business leaders of tomorrow. The Clark Scholars Program at Penn will merge innovative coursework, service learning, and research internship opportunities for select students.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
The Clark Scholars are supported through a scholarship which is made possible through the generous gift of the Foundation. Students who qualify for financial aid at Penn will be considered for the Program.
An additional application for the Program is not required. The School of Engineering and Applied Science and the Office of Admissions select the Clark Scholars from each incoming freshman class. They are students who have achieved academic excellence and have determined financial need.
