Penn’s undergraduate award-based financial fund program meets 100% of established financial need with awards and work-study funds. Since 2013, Penn State has taken part in the State Grant Distance Education Pilot program which accepted students enrolled for more than 50% Web and Hybrid semester coursework to receive state grant funding at the same level as their on-campus counterparts. The pilot program ends with the spring semester and distance education was approved to be included in the PA State Grant program.
