If you have an ambition to progress into a professional computing career in industry or academia, then this course is for you. You will acquire the skills to become an independent learner and, in the final two years, you will gain advanced knowledge of specialist areas of computer systems, cloud computing, wireless and mobile communications, embedded systems and computer security. A group project to manage and deliver a significant multidisciplinary engineering project will help you to further develop your communication, project management and teamworking skills. In addition, you will undertake a substantial individual project where you will be required to develop software or hardware in an innovative manner.
